New Changes
Trying to get photos everyday, have them edited, write a post...it takes a lot of work. It gets frustrating when I have an outfit and no photographer, or vice versa. Or when I have a million things to do and no time to stop for pics. So I decided to post outfits on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to give myself time to breathe and function. Tuesdays and Thursdays I may or may not post, but it would be a thrifting haul or a DIY or some sort of entertaining filler. And this way I can stay up-to-date on all of my favorite blogs on my Tuesdays and Thursdays "off!"
I really hate missing posts and having a huge back log on bloglovin and GFC. As much as I enjoy having my own blog, the whole reason I started one was from reading all of yours! I want to see Angela's shoes on Head To toe Chic, or read about Tara's latest strange beer or something about her cats on Penniless Socialite and see how Katie from Hems For Her styles her latest steals from Gwynnie Bee. If I don't see the latest post on how to look posh at Crazy Style Love ,or what trend Rachel is currently rocking, or even how Kacie can still look adorable when her tights are covered in her dog's fur, how can I be inspired? It comes from ya'll. So I'm going to be spending more virtual time with you. I hope you are okay with that! I love being a blogger but I adore reading blogs! Plus, you know, concentrating at work and spending time with my kids and paying attention to my Kitten and my cooking for my Husband and all that too. I'm just trying to find a balance.
How do you lovely ladies juggle your online life and your personal life? Leave tips and wisdom in the comments.
Thank you!

Cutting my blogging back to 3 times a week saved my sanity. I felt the same way and it started feeling like a chore!I like the new header!
Thanks Katie! I just want to find the right balance. I hope this way works! And it's basically just three times a week, not necessarily on certain days. That just my idea for now. Thank you for your feed back!
Amen girl! I only do outfit posts 3 times a week - with a full time job along with having a life it was too much - and the beauty of a blog is that it's your world and you can do whatever you want ;)

I honestly don't have great advice... I have never stuck to a very good posting schedule, but I rarely post more than 2 outfits a week. I post Instagram photos usually once a week because it literally only takes 10 min. or less to do a post! (I try to post 4-5 times per week).
I'd say just do what works for you! Sometimes I go crazy knowing that I won't have time to make it home before the sun goes down for photos and I like my outfit that day, but it just happens sometimes :( Do you have a tripod? Maybe that would be the best way to get some photos every day and then post them when you have time?! Posting Pinterest inspiration, recent purchases or some of your favorite items on your shopping wish list are also quick posts! I do those to keep my sanity because if I was posting outfits everyday, I wouldn't have time for my bf, my real job or my pup!
I completely understand your frustrations, when I miss one day of checking all the blogs I follow they get so backed up and I hate to miss out on posts from the bloggers I love! I guess how I deal with it is not taking my blog too seriously and remember that I made it for fun! hahaha and I'm working on the dog fur thing! I haven't worn tights since you gave me the tape suggestion so I have yet to try that I'm thinking I'll give it a try today!
I love that you wear hairy tights. You are young and fun and free!
I'm definitely going to do a wish list. I think that's a great idea!
I hope so!
That is so true!!
I think you are so right! I love having a community of people who feel the same way I do.
I haven't done anything like that, but it's a great idea!
I hope it works! I made my blog for fun as well. I like the feedback from other bloggers, it is so helpful when it comes to getting dressed in the morning!
Thanks for mentioning me in your post :) Juggling blogging and life is really hard honestly. It's something that I'm constantly struggling with. I write all my blog posts on Sundays and schedule them for the week, that way all I have to do during the week is visit and comment on other blogs. It seems to be working well.

That's what I'll be attempting to do. I have two kids, and I miss so much of their lives already by working so much! You are welcome, you know I love your blog!
I'm gonna try! I'm going to take some of these ideas and apply them whenever I can.
