Unblogged
Sometimes I don't have anyone available to take my blog pics and it can be VERY frustrating when I have something I love/really want to share. I then end up fiddling around with my camera at work trying to take my own pictures. These disasters do not usually end in a post. Since hubby is allowing me to use his tripod I can now actually take my own pics if no one is available! But for now enjoy these not-too-great never-before-seen photos!
SECOND OUTFIT: I actually really love this! My chambray shirt and my leopard pants with my sweater boots and my old and beloved blue beaded ribbon tie necklace. Super duper comfortable. I love this combo! Plus, I feel this could be a day to night transition if I changed up the accessories. Maybe with hair up, black heels, roll the sleeves and add a big gold bangle plus some chandelier earrings?
So, these are my blog pics. That didn't make the blog. That are now on the blog. Enjoy!

im a new blogger and having difficult figuring out how to get the outfit photos taken. its so involved - finding a location, all the technical camera stuff, getting the right light (im not inherently a photog). i think youre doing a great job!

How cute are you?! YAY! I'm glad you have a tripod to use now :) Sometimes I don't get home until after dark and then its really hard to take decent photos. We don't have a lot of great areas in our apartment, any who, I feel you on some of the outfits I wish I could share!
I'm adoring both outfits, but I really love the chambray and leopard pants!
I've only been blogging since October. My Mom usually takes my pictures and they are decent. When my husband takes them they are beautiful. When I take them.....I like to take them against plain backgrounds so nothing distracts from your clothes. A lot of bloggers get made fun of for taking pictures in fields, etc. some of my favorite places to take pics are:
WALLS. Brick, cinderblock, aged wood barn doors. Stuff like that.
In front of tall grass or rose bushes (easy)
on rail road tracks.
on bridges.
I live in an urban area so there's lots of city things to get in front of.

I do too. My Mom just wrote *smh* she thinks I dress so bizarrely. I like the color of the chambray with the leopard pants. Those two items are the work horse team of my closet!

I do too! I was telling my co-worker how my Mother thinks my leopard pants are so loud and outlandish and she just gave me THE LOOK. I said why did you give me THE LOOK? She said...well your pants ARE loud and outlandish. Then I explained how leopard is a neutral and goes with everything and her eyes started to glaze over. SMH. Sigh. You can't win everyone!
