Summer Wedding Guest Look
I originally bought this dress for my friend Elise to wear to her friend Katie's wedding. Elise hated it. I was too big for it and tried to squeeze it any way and ended up breaking the zipper. This dress has been broken and unwearable in my closet since 2011! A simple $4.00 zipper at Walmart and I fixed that. Lucky me the dress fits now! I love thinning out. It's like I'm getting a new wardrobe for free, but I'n shopping my closet.
I paired the graphic print dress with matching heels and geometric shaped earrings to mimic the pattern in the dress. Normally I do not go for matchy-matchy looks such as this, however my Mom convinced me to ditch the brown leather Lauren Conrad heels for my unworn pink peep toes. She's so smart! I really like all the pink. It is my favorite color after all! (Though I would also wear electric blue heels and a blue clutch just to change it up!)
I love the layers on the dress, it hits at just the right spot, it's a breathable linen fabric so I'm not dying in it. Winner! Where else can I wear it?
What do you think of the matchy-matchy pink on pink?

Pink is so your color, I love the pink heels with it too! I think you should post it with the blue heels too because It would completely change the whole look but I bet it would look great :)
Pink is my FAVORITE color. I never used to wear anything but pink, black and white. I want to wear this dress at least one more time before summer ends, so the blue heels and clutch and maybe my hair down and wavy, with a long necklace to change up the look of it?

Thanks Tara! Banana Republic has the best dresses. I really love the fabric of it. It's thicker and holds it's shape but I don't have to iron it or anything.
I think you have a beautiful dress here and that it works with the pink accessories. I also think it would be wonderful with the blue you mentioned or with gold accessories and heels. You look great in this dress!

There's definitely nothing wrong with a little matchy matchy every now and again. The dress is fabulous and even better that it was such a steal.
I think this is the perfect dress to wear dressy or casual. I'm sure it would look great with a denim jacket on a cool evening.

Thanks! I usually don't do the matchy matchy thing but I will admit Mom was right on this one.
It was on SUPER sale. I bought it for her in like November, 8 months before the wedding. She ended up wearing the other option, which is the same dress but hot pink with blue flowers.
I LOVE IT! And I always feel like weddings are the best time to dress matchy matchy---- I always match the colors of my heels to my clutch or to my dress! I guess I do it all the time anyway even though I try to mix it up sometimes :) And great deal on the dress!
