I posted this outfit on Instagram (@thestylizedwannabe if you wanna follow!) a few weeks ago and decided to recreate it for the blog so you could see just how darling it is. The black dress is one of my favorites, and I find the length and fit very flattering on my curvy frame and short height.
I accessorized with my leopard print belt, coral beaded necklace, contrasting bangle, nude crocheted flats, and my thrifted clutch. I also rocked a side braid and tiny little tree earrings.
This is the comfiest dress. And even though it's a mini, it's not scandalously short since I paired it with flats.

I DID I DID spy this on there! You look gorgeous! And this dress is not even that mini... I can show you some of my dresses from college I have yet to get rid of ;) Anyway, definitely with the flats it is just super cute... still sexy but not over the top! LOVE that bangle too!

I just had 6 inches cut off and feel naked. It's not as dramatic as your cut but I feel like I lost a buddy lol.
Thank Angela! I think the lining of the dress is shrinking but the chiffon is not. The underneath part is way shorter! I just make sure I wear shorts under it lol.
That bangle gets worn every single time I wear that dress. I think I bought them together. Forever 21 is a trap if you love polka dots. They suck you in...

I say "F" the naysayers all the time. The older I get I dress for me and not others. It's very liberating! This outfit is absolutely adorable and polka dots and leopard look great together!

I love it! Polka dots are one of my favorite trends. You find the greatest deals too:) Over a year ago, I lost 33 pounds, so I totally revamped my look as well as my wardrobe. The majority of the clothes I wear now, over a year ago I would've never worn them, but now I feel comfortable in them.
So, to answer your question Ashleigh, I say YES. I wear what I want to wear and I don't let anyone try to change my mind, if someone doesn't like my look, I say don't look at me then:)
